When Patty first started painting, she tried out several different paint brands and fell in love with DecoArt and partnered with them on several projects over a couple of decades.
Once we opened a painting workshop in our little river town, we were painting in BULK! We had lots of lots of parties and painting events and we were going through small 2oz. or 8oz. very quickly.
That's when we decided we wanted to try buying our paint in bulk. We fell in love Sherwin Williams house paint.

We often get asked what colors we use on specific projects. We carefully selected 80 colors for our collection and made the StudioR12 Paint Color Guide so we could share those colors with you.
When you watch our videos (starting in 2023), we will tell you what paint colors we are using on our projects so you can reference the color guide and grab similar colors.
If we say we use Paint Color 27, you will go to the guide and find the honey bottle that says 27. Underneath the bottle, you'll see a similar DecoArt color, the Sherwin Williams color and the Hex code if you try to match the color online. You'll also find the color family and value.
